Open for payments. Waiting on CBS.
Here's how the pool runs: LeagueSafe for money, CBS for picks, email for results. If you pay before CBS opens, you are in the paid bucket until the CBS link goes out.
LeagueSafe payments
2026 entry is open. LeagueSafe holds the money in escrow until payouts are approved after the season.

CBS is not open yet for the 2026 season. Once it opens, the CBS league link goes out by email.
Weekly email
Recaps, payout notes, standings reminders, and required updates go out by email during the season.
Facebook group
The Facebook group is useful for comments and extra reminders, but it is not required.

Pay, join CBS, pick against the spread.
Every game has a point spread: a handicap that makes both sides closer to a coin flip. Pick KC −3.5 and they need to win by 4+. Pick DEN +3.5 and they can win or lose by 3 or fewer. That's picking against the spread — ATS for short.
- Pay through LeagueSafe. Your entry sits in escrow, not anyone's pocket.
- Join the CBS league when it opens. The link goes out by email.
- Pick every game against the spread, every week. Weekly winners are tracked all season, and the season-end payouts are set once the field is locked.
What you're playing for
Last season, 61 of 124 players cashed at least once.
The 2026 payout table will be posted before Week 1 once the paid field is locked. The goal is to keep five weekly payout spots and create as much end-of-season payout opportunity as the locked 2026 field supports. Entry fees go to the prize pool; support and sponsor money stay separate.
2025 weekly payouts
| Weekly finish | Paid |
|---|---|
| 1st | $200 |
| 2nd | $150 |
| 3rd | $75 |
| 4th | $50 |
| 5th | $25 |
2025 final standings payouts
| Finish | Record | Paid |
|---|---|---|
| 1st overall | 164 wins | $1,500 |
| 2nd overall | 154 wins | $800 |
| 3rd overall tie | 151 wins | $233.33 each |
Rules
The basics before you pay.
CBS runs the actual picks and standings once the league opens. If CBS handles a rule differently, CBS is the source of truth and the weekly email will call it out.
Why your money is safe
LeagueSafe holds the money. The public site stays anonymized.
LeagueSafe holds entry fees in escrow. After the season, payout allocations are submitted through LeagueSafe and released after the required league approval.
Public recap archive
Names live in the private league. Numbers are public.
These cards show payout structure, weekly prize amounts, and season context without turning every result into a searchable public name record.
Sponsor the recap
Put your business in the weekly recap.
A sponsor spot is simple: your business name, short blurb, logo, and link in the weekly recap email and the matching recap page. Clearly labeled, no weird pretending.

Optional support
Support the pool without touching the prize money.
Entry fees go to the prize pool. If you want to help cover the costs of running the pool, the website, and weekly recap work, that is separate and optional.
Referral program
Bring in 3 new paid players and your 2026 entry is covered.
A referral counts once the new player is new to the pool, pays through LeagueSafe, joins CBS once it opens, and is confirmed before kickoff.
FAQ
The stuff people ask every year.
How much is entry?
Entry is $100. The 2026 payout structure will be posted before Week 1 once the paid field is locked.
What does against the spread mean?
Every game has a point spread. Pick a favorite like KC −3.5 and they need to win by 4+. Pick an underdog like DEN +3.5 and they can win or lose by 3 or fewer.
Where do payments happen?
Payments are handled through LeagueSafe, which holds the money in escrow until payouts are released after the season.
Where do picks happen?
Picks and standings are handled through CBS once the 2026 Pick'em season opens.
When does entry close?
The hard deadline will be announced before Week 1. Plan on joining before the Thursday, September 10, 2026 kickoff.
What happens if I miss a week?
You can still keep playing. Missing a week makes the season-long race harder, but every week is a new chance to win weekly money.
What if I miss one game?
That game is a non-pick. CBS controls saved picks, locked games, and scoring. Make sure your picks are saved inside CBS before the deadline.
Do you take a cut?
Player entry fees are for the prize pool. Sponsor or support money, if any, is separate and helps cover the work of running the pool, website, and recaps.
How do I get paid?
Weekly winners are tracked through CBS and the pool's own records. LeagueSafe releases the actual funds after the season when payout allocations open and at least half the league approves.
Can I join mid-season?
Maybe, if the pool is still accepting entries. Late entries are not ideal because you are behind in the season-long race. Any late-entry money after the payout table is locked will be handled separately and communicated clearly.
When is the payout table final?
The final 2026 payout table will be set once the paid field is locked before Week 1. Last year's table is history, not a promise for 2026. The goal is more players, more weekly opportunities, and a clean season-long payout structure that matches the locked 2026 field.
Can I have multiple entries?
Yes. Each entry needs its own CBS login/email address, because CBS has to treat them as separate entries.
What if CBS shows something wrong?
CBS is the system of record for picks, saved entries, locks, and standings. If a pick was not saved in CBS before lock, the pool cannot manually change it after the fact.
Do weekly winners get paid every week?
Weekly winners are awarded and tracked every week. LeagueSafe releases the actual funds after the season when payout allocations open and get approved.
Is Facebook required?
No. Email is the main communication channel, and CBS can send league messages too. The Facebook group is optional and used for comments, screenshots, and extra reminders.
Is this betting advice?
No. This is a private football pool and entertainment/community content.
